Twilightsky's life

    I slip out of the nursery, and my tiny mouth opens and I gasp. "I...it's so...amazing!" I say, looking around. "Oh! Blueflower, I didn't know that Twilightkit opened her eyes!" A white she-cat purrs. "Who are you?" I ask in wonder, smiling. "Oh, well little Twilightkit, i'm Snowclaw. Your mom's sister!" The white she-cat answers, grinning a bit. "Oh....where are the others?" I ask, looking around again. "The..others?" Blueflower asks, tilting her head. "I know i wasn't alone. There were others in the nest!" I protest, looking at my mother. 'Wait.....why are her eyes watering?' I think to myself, taking a step back. "Shadowkit and Rainkit didn't make it, Twilightkit...." Blueflower whispers, looking away. I blink slowly, tilting my head, "What does that mean?" I ask, looking at Snowclaw. "T..they died..."Snowclaw answers, looking at her paws. "O...oh..."I mutter, then decide to change the subject. "Where's daddy?!" I ask, smiling again. "Your daddy's probably sleepi-" Blueflower starts, but gets cut off. "You've opened your eyes! I'm so happy!" A black tom cat purrs happily, licking my forehead. I whine, squirming away. I hear Blueflower chuckle, "This is your father, Nightpelt." She says, smiling. I look at the black cat, his green eyes were filled with warmth. I scamper away, looking into a small pond. "Hmm....I have purple eyes...with a black pelt...and patches of white? I'm adorable!" I mutter to myself, smiling. "Twilightkit, come on! It's cold out here." Blueflower calls, and I slip into the nursery.
  I look around, and see another cat curled around two more kits. "Mommy! Who are they?" I ask, my purple eyes wide. "Honey, thats Spottedwing, and her two kits, Redkit and Skykit. They opened their eyes yesterday, so you can play with them tomorrow." Blueflower answers, smiling. "Now come on, come sleep." Blueflower purrs, laying down. I snuggle up with her, looking out into the distance. 'I wonder how my life will be....what will I face?' She thinks to herself, closing her eyes.
